Develop the sort of equanimity (upekkhā pāramī) that allows you to accept setbacks and not get knocked out by them: the kind of equanimity that allows you to deal with difficulties and come out winning.
"You shouldn’t develop equanimity that leads to laziness and defeatism. Instead, develop the sort of equanimity [upekkhā pāramī] that allows you to accept setbacks and not get knocked out by them: the kind of equanimity that allows you to deal with difficulties and come out winning."
~ Thanissaro Bhikkhu "Good Heart, Good Mind: The Practice of the Ten Perfections"
